NOTICE TO LICENSE HOLDERS OF CONCISE BEAM VERSION 3 (up to version 3.5a)
Black Mint Software Inc. (Black Mint) has
purchased ownership of Concise Beam from the Canadian
Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (CPCI) immediately prior to the
release of Concise Beam version 4. Please note Black Mint did not
market, license or receive revenue for any version of Concise Beam
earlier than version 4. Black Mint did provide technical support to
earlier users under contract to CPCI.
Black Mint no longer offers technical support to license holders of
versions of Concise Beam earlier than version 4. No further technical
updates will be provided for version 3 (the last was version 3.5a
released February 2001). Black Mint strongly encourages you to upgrade
to version 4 to obtain the advantages of this extensive upgrade,
continuing updates, and full technical support. Black Mint is also
pleased to offer to current license holders a substantial discount in
the price to upgrade to version 4 (see go to the Concise Beam Pricing page for details). A new license key will be provided to current license holders that upgrade.
Version 3.5a Upgrade
Concise Beam version 3.5a is the last software upgrade to
Concise Beam version 3. File CoFix35a.exe is a self
extracting zipped file containing a new executable for Concise Beam
Version 3.5a
To install this file:
- Download the file "CoFix35a.exe".
- Execute "CoFix35a.exe" on your computer, i.e. double click it.
- When prompted for a directory to unzip this file to choose your current Concise Beam version 3 directory.
- The old "concise.exe" file will be overwritten with the updated file.
- There is no need for the user to keep the old
executable file. If one wishes to do so, please rename your old
"concise.exe" before executing "CoFix35a.exe".
